Hensell Goat Rescue is now closed for the winter, and we’ll reopen with our Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday 4th April 2026.
Even though our gates are closed, our work never stops. Our goats still need daily food, care, and attention — and there are still lots of ways you can support the rescue over winter:

WELCOME
Hensell Goat Rescue Care Farm CIC is a friendly, inclusive sanctuary in Sutton on Sea, offering rescued goats a loving home - and visitors a unique chance to connect with animals, nature, and community.
Entry is just £1 for adults and kids go free! It’s fun for all ages - and every visit helps support our rescue mission.
GOAT WALKING EXPERIENCES & JUNIOR FARMER AFTERNOONS
These special activities run only during July and August, when we have enough helpers to make them extra safe and enjoyable (it takes a team of 4–5 people to run them properly).
They’ll be back next summer — keep an eye out for dates! 👀
